The Petrodvorets Watch Factory, located in Saint-Petersburg, was initially founded by Peter the Great in 1721 as a precious stone manufacture. It supplied precious stones for the crown of the Tzars, for Fabergé, Imperial palast, the Kremlin Stars and Lenin’s moseleum.

From 1930’s the factory started manufacturing rubies for watch mechanisms, then watches under famous soviet brands. In 1962 the factory created its own new brand «Raketa» in honor of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.

Today the Petrodvorets Watch Factory is still located in its historical building and is one of the last soviet watch factories that still fully manufactures its own mechanisms and watches combining the highest quality standards with fashionable designs.
