LEMARC becomes an official partner of Raketa Watch Factory
LEMARC, a new brand of motor, transmission and industrial oils, has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with one of Russia’s oldest manufacturers, Raketa Watch Factory.
As an official partner of Raketa Watch Factory, the Russian brand LEMARC will supply the enterprise with innovative lubricants for factory equipment. The cooperation agreement was signed on June 1, 2024.
The agreement also covers cooperation in implementing strategic projects, marketing campaigns, communication support and information exchange.
The LEMARC-Raketa partnership is an excellent example of mutually beneficial cooperation between Russian businesses facilitating capacity building and broadening their horizons.
In the past, Raketa worked with a French company, whose capacities are now being used by LEMARC. As the lubricants market has seen profound changes over the past two years, we are happy to welcome a new actor whose product quality and services could easily compete with producers that have withdrawn from the market.
About Raketa Watch Factory
Petrodvorets Watch Factory was founded in 1721 by decree of Peter the Great. In 1961, the Raketa brand was created in honor of the first human flight into space, manned by Yuri Gagarin. LEMARC is a new brand of motor, transmission, and industrial oils for the Russian and neighboring markets. The oils are produced at a modern, high-tech lubricants plant with a capacity of up to 75,000 tons per year, based in the Kaluga Region. The name LEMARC was chosen because it sounds similar to the French word la marque, which means trade mark, and the Russian word марка, or mark of quality. LEMARC brings together high premium quality, advanced technologies, compliance with international specifications and a wide product range.
