With its dark humour, soundtrack and memorable quotes, the post-Soviet gangster film “Brother” has become a symbol of the 90’s by examining the strained transition of Russia to capitalism and democracy. In testimony of this iconic Russian neo-noir film, the Raketa Watch Factory has created a watch in collaboration with the Russian film studio STV.

This edition, limited to 50 pieces, is based on Raketa’s “Big Zero” collection — a self-evident, functional, but nevertheless radical design with a black & white dial with oversized numerals crowned with a big “0”. The embossed red printing of the indexes “2” and “5” emphasises the history of this legendary film which came out 25 years ago.

The case back reveals a beautifully decorated Raketa automatic movement with “Neva waves” and with the logo — “БРАТ25” (meaning “BROTHER25”).
The strap, with a “quick-change” system, is decorated with the legendary quote from the film: “В чем сила, брат?” (meaning, “Where is the power, brother?”)
The case and straps are packed in a box looking like VHS tapes with the films Brother and Brother 2.
